Three $10,000 research grants were awarded to three “rock stars” on Jan. 29 at a reception at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute. The Seeds of Science Grants the cancer researchers received are funded by the annual fundraiser RockStar Lounge, hosted by cancer institute foundation’s Envoys advocacy group.
