BILLY JOE ANTONACCI, age 70, of Sherwood passed away Sunday, October 21st, 2007. He was bornAugust 7th, 1937 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Barney and Edna Jenkins Antonacci. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Charles T. and Benard Antonacci and by sister: Barbara Baldwin.

Billy Joe was a graduate of NorthLittle Rock High School where he and Charlotte graduated together, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sherwood, he loved to hunt, fish and especially loved his time with his grandchildren.

Mr. Antonacci is survived by his wife of 50 years: Charlotte Alberson Antonacci, his daughter: Terri Lynne Zakrewski and her husband Thomas; son: Joe Antonacci and his wife Kathleen; his grandchildren: Amber Marie and Matthew Thomas Zakrewski and Chase Antonacci; by his sister: Caroline Jones and her husband Ed; by brother: Bobby S. Antonacci and wife Mickey; by five nieces and nine nephews.

MARIO BRUNO CIA JR. "BUDDY", age 66, of Little Rock, passed awayOctober 20, 2007. He was born June 3, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas the son of Mario Bruno Cia Sr., and Elaine Weir Cia. He served in the United States Marines and had two tours during Vietnam. He played shortstop for theBelmont North Carolina Chiefs, and minor league for the San Francisco Giants from 1961 to 1962. He dearly loved to play golf. His mother, Elaine Weir Cia, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kandyce Cia of Little Rock, his children Genavina Cia of Fort Smith, Julie McClendon and husband Don of Fort Smith, LCPL Mario B. Cia III of Twentynine Palms, Calif., and Kristin Cia of Little Rock; his grandchildren Cody Arnold, Dakota Reed, Haiden O'Brien all of Fort Smith and Alex Cia and Alexis St. Jacques both of Little Rock; and his father Mario Bruno Cia Sr.

RICHARD NORMAN "DICK" FREELING SR., of Little Rock, regarded byfriends and family members as a hero of the "Greatest Generation," died peacefully October 19. Dick was born on May 29, 1923, to Guy Alexander and Grace Hanson Freeling, who, along with his brother Guy Freeling Jr ., preceded him in death.

He is survived by Marie Hare Freeling, his wife of 60 years; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Barbara Freeling of Little Rock; daughter Susan Carr of Chapel Hill, N.C.;

grandchildren Tyrrell Januzzi and husband Lou of New York, N.Y., Taylor Carr of Annapolis, Md., Becka Webb and husband, Brian of Little Rock; and two great-grandchildren.

Dick attended school in Little Rock before enrolling at Columbia Military Academy. He attended the University of Arkansas, where he was a Sigma Chi. As an Army First Lieutenant, Dick served as an Infantry Unit Commander during World War II, seeing action in the Normandy, Germany and Northern France Campaigns in the European Theater of Operations, receiving a Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star (for Gallantry), Combat Infantry Badge, Presidential Unit Citation and the European Theater Medal with three battle stars. Dick was a principal of Freeling Insurance from 1945-79, at which time he joined Stephens, Inc., where he worked as a registered representative for 10 years before retirement. The quintessential gentleman, Dick entertained friends and family with his wonderful knack for story-telling.

An enthusiastic ham radio operator for many years, Dick was active in the American Radio Relay League. He was a past director of the Country Club of Little Rock and a member of the Bible Church. God used Dick Freeling to touch the hearts and lives of many. He was, first and foremost, a loving husband, father and grandfather, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

There will be a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. today, Oct. 23rd, at St. Andrew's Anglican Church, 8300 Kanis Rd., Little Rock, Ark., 72204. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

REGINA "JEANIE" GAIL KEETH, 45, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007. Born in England on April 2, 1962, she was a dispatcher for the North Little Rock Police Department.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel Keeth of Stuttgart; a brother, Larry Keeth and wife, Mary Lynn of Tucker; three sisters, Sue Williams and husband, Cecil of England, Jan Barnett and husband, Wilford of Stuttgart and Sheila Jarrett and husband, Dean of Sherwood; three nephews, Gary Keeth, Dennis Keeth and Jeffery Barnett; two nieces, Donna Chambless and LeAnn Askins; three greatnephews and one great-niece; special friends, Karen Henry, Duwanna McClanahan, Gloria Rogers and the North Little Rock Police Department. She was preceded in death by her father, Willard C. Keeth.

SSG ANDREW TRAVIS SHELTON SR., 64, was born April 13, 1943 inLittle Rock, to the late Geneva Harris Freeman and Andrew Shelton. Andrew passed away on October 19, 2007 at the Central Arkansas Veterans Hospital. He was an Army Purple Heart Veteran of Vietnam, a retired member ofthe Arkansas Army National Guard, and a member of the American Legion, Post 91.

He is survived by one son; Andrew T. (Karron) Shelton; three daughters; Teresa, Karen, Sharar; two adopted children; Eric (Carlena), James (Adrianne) all of North Little Rock; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

CAMDEN - Paul Everette Edwards was born August 26, 1906, in Drew County Arkansas, the son of CliftonNathan and Elsie Jackson Edwards, and died October 22, 2007 at Valley Oaks Senior Living at the age of 101. Mr. Edwards was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Frances Coverston Edwards, and three brothers,Basil Waldo, Clifton Taft, and Ben Davis Edwards, and two sisters, Dorris Edwards Purcel and Lois Edwards Dixon.

He is survived by a daughter, Sara Frances Yarbrough (Bill) of Camden; a son, Charles Thomas Edwards (Barbara) of Maumelle, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Diane Yarbrough Bunten (Kris) of Chicago, Illinois, David Nathan Yarbrough (Jackie) of Alexander, Arkansas, and Jeffery Thomas Edwards of Memphis, and two great-grandsons, Jarod Everet Yarbrough and William Thomas Bunten.

Mr. Edwards graduated from high school at Arkansas State Agriculture and Mechanical College at Monticello in 1926 and moved to Camden in 1929. He worked for Camden Lumber Company and Prescott Lumber Company before becoming an independent building contractor.Many homes and business buildings in Camden were either built or remodeled by him. For a brief time in the 1950s, he was a partner with his brother-in-law, Frank Dixon, in D and E Hardware in downtown Camden. From January 1957 until his retirement in 1973, Paul was manager of the Camden Water Utilities.

Mr. Edwards was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church and the Couples Class Sunday school class. He was active in the Boiling Pot Hunting Club and had a cabin there for many years. Mr. Edwards enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, playing games and cards with friends and family, and building things, especially for his grandchildren. CONWAY - Janetta Lee Clements, 67, of Conway died Sunday, October21, 2007, at Hospice Home Care Inpatient Unit in Conway. Mrs. Clements was born June 19, 1940, in Conway, a daughter of the late Osco and Norine (James) Hankins. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she was inthe Pathfinders Sunday School Class. She and her husband owned and operated Westhaven and River Drive Mobile Home Parks in Conway.

Janetta's family remember her as a Christian wife, mother and grandmother who led by example and took care of and put her family first. She also loved to travel. Some of these travels were to Europe, Hawaii, and most recently to Colorado, where she enjoyed watching her grandchildren snow ski. She is also remembered as an animal lover.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, James Donald Clements, of Conway; sons, Dennis and wife Colette of Dallas and Mark Clements of Conway; her daughter, Jeanna Coleman, of Conway; her sister, Nina Jolly, and husband, Hal, of Wooster; grandchildren, Kristopher, Nicholas, Michael and Sebastian Clements and Catherine Coleman; nephews Joseph, Joshua and John Jolly.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23 at the funeral home. Funeral will be 1 p.m., Wednesday in the Chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway with Rev. Henry Horton officiating. DUMAS - Max Edward Gray, 90, of Dumas, formerly of DeWitt, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas. Born April, 26, 1917, at Chambersville, Ark., he was the son of Burke Donaldson and Maggie Briley Gray. A graduate of DeWitt High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was office manager for L.A. Black, Inc. in DeWitt for 47 years before retiring and moving to Dumas in 1988. A member of the First United Methodist Church, he served as an usher and administrative board chairman at De-Witt, and later in Dumas, he was an active member in the Men's Sunday School Class.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Holmes Gray, and sister, Mildred Varnadore Gray. Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, Hazel Stephenson Gray; a daughter, Maxine Stubbs of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Shanna Boney of Marion and Dr. Scott Stubbs of Siloam Springs, and two great-grandchildren, Jase and Avery Boney of Marion.

A family graveside service, with Rev. Glen Pettus officiating, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at DeWitt Cemetery with Essex Funeral Home in charge. A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Dumas with Rev. Buddy Ratliff officiating.

ENGLAND - Dorothy Ellen Scott, age 87, of England, went to be withher Lord, Saturday, October 20, 2007. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church, and a member of Eastern Star. One of her proudest accomplishments was becoming a volunteer EMT in England, where she served for eightyears. She loved gardening and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville Temple and Iola Wilbanks Temple, her husband, Coy Scott and sister, Mary Lee Crouthers. Survivors are two sons, Jim (Nancy) Scott of England, Arkansas and Bob (Ann) Scott of North Little Rock, Arkansas, one daughter, Patricia (Kenneth) Suter of Wyaconda, Mo., a sister, Addie Ruth McKinney of Dennison, Texas; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

HORSESHOE BEND - Kathleen Sue Davis, age 54, of Horseshoe Bend, died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at her home in Horseshoe Bend. She was born on Oct. 4, 1953 to Charles Raymond and Marjorie Elizabeth Strube Mowder in Pekin, Ill. She was a member of the Horseshoe Bend Eagles, was a homemaker, and was of the Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents. LONOKE - Albert Melton Castile, 77, of Lonoke passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2007. He was born in Little Rock, Ark., to Melton James and Lillie Bell McCain Castile. MALVERN - William T. "Bill" Hendrix, age 66, of Malvern, died earlySunday morning, Oct. 21, 2007, at his home. He was born on Dec. 8, 1940, in Hot Spring County to the late Rupert and Dorothy Keisler Hendrix. Reared and receiving his early education in Hot Spring County,he attended the Fairview Elementary School and graduated from Malvern High School. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and Henderson State Teachers College (Henderson State University). Bill was a veteran of the United StatesAir Force, having served in Vietnam. While serving his country, Bill received the Air Force Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. During his career, Bill was involved in several different aspects of the insurance industry. He became an adjuster and was the owner of Southern Adjusting Company. Before coming back to Malvern, Bill lived for 35 years in Pine Bluff. He was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Malvern, where he had served on several boards and committees. Bill was active in the 4H Clubs and the FFA, and helped organize the Fordyce, Ark., Little League. He was a history buff and donated to the Hot Spring County Courthouse pictures of all 75 Arkansas counties' Court Houses.

He is survived by his wife, Johnette Wallace Johnson Hendrix of Malvern, to whom he was married on March 24, 2007, by a daughter, Trisha Ann Sparks of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; by a son, Travis Hendrix of Frisco, Texas; by four brothers, Morton and his wife Mary Hendrix of Capistrano Beach, Calif., Maurice Hendrix of Malvern, Bob and his wife Karen Hendrix of Pittsburg, Texas, and Lew and his wife Kathy Hendrix of Makanda, Ill. He is also survived by three stepsons, Micheal, James Mark, and Mark Curtis Johnson; one stepdaughter, Gail Johnson; four grandchildren; three stepgrandsons; five stepgranddaughters; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and a very special friend, Olivia Pierce.

His funeral will be held at the graveside in the Old Lutheran Cemetery on Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at 10 a.m., with the Reverend Dooley Fowler officiating.

Pallbearers will be: A.J. Roberson, Gleason McGuire, Dallas Lewter, Jack McCoy, Ronnie Jones, Eddie States, and Calvin Erwin. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Harold Bailey, Harold Johnson, Phyllis Butler, Martha Rice, Dean Paul, Sammy Ledbetter, and all his Fairview Elementary School classmates.

SPRINGDALE - James Ray Herrington, 47, died Tuesday, October 16, 2007 in Springdale. He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on July 20, 1960 to Dr. Gordon Ray and Judith Elaine Cox Herrington. He attended Leverett and Asbell Elementary Schools, Woodland and Ramay Junior Highs in Fayetteville. He was a 1978 graduate of Fayetteville High School, where he played monster man for the Purple Dogs. He received a degree in Respiratory Therapy from the University of Mississippi and worked in Arkansas, Texas, and Minnesota. He is a past employee of the University of Arkansas and Tyson Foods. He professed his faith in Christ. He will be missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by: one daughter, Sarah Nicole; one son, James Ryan; one brother, Scott Herrington & wife, Cheryl; one sister, Susan Jones & husband, Stephen; an aunt, Dr. Sue A. Cox; an uncle, Eugene Herrington & wife, Barbara; two nephews, Samuel Herrington & Jacob Herrington; three cousins, Cathy, David and Janet.

STUTTGART - Ralph Ivan Goetz, 78, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at the Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock. Mr. Goetz was born Feb. 1, 1929, in Stuttgart, the son of Carl and Ena Frye Goetz. He was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and was a retired farmer. WARD - James "Jim" Raleigh Roberts, 26, of Ward, Arkansas wentto be with the Lord, Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on February 25, 1981 in Lawton, Oklahoma. ARLINGTON, Tenn. - Betty Jane Ives Crox, 74, of Arlington, Tenn., formerly of Stuttgart, passed away Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007. Mrs. Crox was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Stuttgart, the daughter of Harry Hamilton and Nelda Sandage Ives. She was a graduate of Stuttgart High School and Arkansas State Teacher's College at Conway.

She was a retired employee of the Social Security Administration in Pine Bluff.

She was a member of Arkansas Post Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, New England Women, Colonial Dames, Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars and Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Stuttgart.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer L. Crox; her mother-inlaw, Irene L. Crox; and her special brother-in-law, Raymond Hahn. Survivors are two daughters, Lee-Anne Brady and husband Ken of Arlington, Tenn., and Kelly Crox of Ooltewah, Tenn.; one sister, Pauline Ives Hahn of Stuttgart; three grandchildren, Lauren, Richard and Carol Brady of Arlington; one niece, Sharon H. Derden of Stuttgart; three great-nieces, Amber Pourmehdi of Farmington, Ark., Pollyanna Ford of Aubrey, Texas, and Sunny Bueker of Stuttgart; and numerous cousins and great-great-nieces and nephews.
