MOBILE, Ala. — The 2009 Sun Belt Conference Tournament already has its first upset winner, Hot Springs.
The Sun Belt announced Monday its 2009 through 2011 postseason tournaments will be played at Hot Springs' Summit Arena, awarding the Spa City the tournament over Huntsville, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn.
"I think we had two really competitive cities at the end," Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Wright Waters said. "The executive committee decided to go with Hot Springs. Great building there. We love the retirement community and the history they have with championship events."
