England headed to playoffs

— Three players scored for England (4-5, 3-3 8-3A) to lift the Lions to a 21-6 victory against Smackover (2-7, 1-5).

The victory assured England its first playoff berth since 1995. Coach Mike Morrison, a former assistant at Mills, is in his first year as the school's head coach.

Jordan Tucker scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead.

Keith Krudup's 15-yard scoring reception put England up 14-0 at halftime.

Justin Williams capped the night with a 12-yard run for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

HARDING ACADEMY 42, ROSE BUD 20

SEARCY - Matt Lincoln and Seth Keese threw for two touchdowns eachto lead Harding Academy to the victory.

Rose Bud scored first on a 1-yard run by J.D. Felice. He also scored the twopoint conversion to put Rose Bud ahead 8-0 early.

Harding Academy (7-2, 5-1) came right back with a 25-yard touchdown pass from Lincoln to Chase Gentry. They also connected on a two-point conversion to tie the game at 8-8.

Gentry caught his second touchdown pass of the game in the second quarter on a 20-yard pass from Keese. The extra point was no good and Harding Academy led 14-8 with 3:09 left in the first half. Gentry finished with 5 catches for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Keese's second touchdown pass of the quarter came with 1:30 left on a 29-yard pass to Michael Hickmon. Keese also scored the two-point conversion to put Harding Academy ahead 22-8 at the half. Hickmon finished with 5 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown.

Lincoln's second touchdown pass of the game came with 4:37 left in the third quarter on a 58-yard pass to Dee Gibbs to put Harding Academy ahead 29-8.
