Haint it spooky?

— Some time after the Tylenol Scare that kept all the kiddies home one Halloween, the holiday went from near-death to a command performance for the yard-art and house-lights set. These days you see more Halloween decorations out in the neighborhoods than plastic reindeer and snowmen come Christmastime. Which, from what we can tell, arrived in the stores last month.

Especially popular this year are those trees filled with flying ghosts. Caspers are everywhere, floating in the wind. Do you think the stores are having a massive sale on shades and specters? If so, we've got the slogan for it: Boo for the price of one.
