Where I live: I live in a town-house condo off Reservoir Road in Little Rock with my three cats, Shasta, Ellie and Greta.
Occupation: I am a wealth advisor. I own my own firm, Cynthia Conger, CPA, PA (www.cindyconger.com). About 65 percent of my clients are single women. Many are going through major life transitions such as the death of a spouse or a divorce, or they simply realize Prince Charming is not coming. I was recently selected as one of the Worth magazine's Top 100 Wealth Advisors for the fourth time in the past five years.
My favorite space: My courtyard.
Why? I spend a lot of time in the courtyard during the spring, summer and fall. Only the coldest winter days keep me away. I even enjoy sitting out here reading in the rain because the overhanging roof keeps this space somewhat protected from the elements. This is where I have my morning coffee or tea and an evening glass of wine.
I love to read. I recently went to Italy so I spent a lot of time reading travel memoirs and guidebooks, and I also love historical novels and thrillers. Escaping the rest of the world is why I enjoy reading just about anything.
If I could do one thing to improve this space, I would: Like to figure a way to keep the mosquitoes out. I hate mosquitoes.
