LITTLE ROCK — Charles Bourland, 17, is the son of Paul and Regina Bourlandof Little Rock. He is a member of Troop 99 in Little Rock at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Bourland achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the encouragement of his parents, scoutleaders and friends. He believes the leadership skills, scholarship opportunities and respect that come with the rank are worth the hard work to achieve it.
Bryce Martin, 17, is the son of Roger and Pennie Martin ofHolly Grove. He is a member of Troop 28 in Clarendon. Martin achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the support of his family, scoutmaster and the leaders in his troop. Healso encourages other scouts as they work toward achieving the rank.
Derek Munroe, 18, is the son of Dan and Lorraine Munroe ofHot Springs. He is a member of Troop 2 in Hot Springs at Ouachita Council. Munroe served as assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, junior assistant scoutmaster, chaplain'saide and program manager. Because he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, Munroe entered the U.S. Air Force in September with an additional rank.
