SUPERMARKET SLEUTH: 'Lively' cheese, pre-sliced pizza, carbonated yogurt hit shelves

— Kraft recently introduced its new LiveActive line, which contains additional fiber or live cultures. The products include:

Cottage Cheese from Breakstone's and Knudsen available plain or mixed with pineapple or berries. They're sold in fourpacks of 4-ounce cups that retail for about $3.

Natural Cheese Snacks in Cheddar Cheese Sticks, Natural Colby & Monterey Jack Cheese Sticks or Cubes, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, and White Cheddar Cheese Cubes. They're sold in resealable bags that retail for about $3.90 each.

Post LiveActive Mixed Berry Crunch and Nut Harvest Crunch cereals that will sell for about $3.80 per box.

Crystal Light LiveActive On The Go Nutrient Enhanced Drink Mix available in Mixed Berry and Raspberry Peach flavors. They will retail for about $3.30 for a 10-count single-serve package, and $4.50 for a 14-count package.

The cheese and cottage cheese products should be instores now, but the cereal and drink mix won't be in stores until January.

Freschetta has a new line of Pizzamore products that features convenient one-step disposable bake-and-serve trays.

The line includes pre-sliced pizzas in medium and large in flavors like Pepperoni Duo, 10-Topping Supreme, 6-Cheese and Meat Medley. The medium retails for about $5.50, the large for about $7.

The Pizzamore line also includes Garlic Stuffed Breadsticks filled with marinara sauce and Cinnamon Stuffed Breadsticks filled with vanilla cream cheese.They retail for about $3 each, and all of the products should be in stores now.

Yoplait recently debuted Fizzix, an edgier, carbonated version of their Go-Gurt yogurt tubes. Fizzix is available in three flavor combinations packaged in boxes containing eight tubes of the following flavor pairings:

Blue Raspberry Rage and Strawberry Watermelon Rush

Wild Cherry Zing and Strawberry Lemonade Jolt

Fruit Punch Charge and Triple Berry Fusion

Fizzix has 80 calories per tube, and sells for about $2.80 a box at most supermarkets.
