Prosecutor says most arrested in raid to face deportation

A federal prosecutor says almost all the 24 men arrested in a raid on a construction project at the Little Rock National Airport will face only administrative charges of immigration violations.

U.S. Attorney Jane Duke says only one or two of the men will face criminal charges. Duke says the rest will appear before an immigration judge and likely be deported soon after that.

Duke declined to say what charges the few men would face or if she would pursue any charges against Naylor Concrete, the Oklahoma City company they worked for.

Federal agents say they arrested the suspected illegal immigrants Wednesday at the site of Supermarine, a company that provides fuel and supplies to corporate and private aircraft.
