Peter Phillips, 30, the eldest grandson of Queen Elizabeth II who is 11th in line to the throne but does not have any official royal duties, married his Canadian fiancee, Autumn Kelly, also 30, in a private ceremony at Windsor Castle.

Rep. Xavier Becerra, DCalif., delivering his party's weekly radio address, urged President Bush and congressional Republicans to back an updated GI Bill, which has passed the House and would guarantee a full scholarship at any in-state public university, along with a monthly housing stipend, for anyone who serves in the military for at least three years.

Milton Jones, 53, a Detroit gang leader and founder of the gang Young Boys Inc., has been sentenced to 30 years in prison on drug charges after agreeing to plead guilty two years ago and aiding prosecutors in exchange for their dropping murder charges.
