RANDA DIANE SKARDA ANDREW ROBERT WILKINS

— Wedding vows were exchanged by Randa Diane Skarda and Andrew Robert Wilkins at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at First United Methodist Church in Springdale. The Rev. Britt Skarda of First United Methodist Church, Springdale, cousin of the bride, and the Rev. Glen Harris of First United Methodist Church in Hazen officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Skarda of Hazen. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Leland DeVore of Des Arc, Floyd Wood of Little Rock, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Skarda, also of Hazen.

Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wilkins of Springdale. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brockmann of Maumelle, and Melvin Wilkins and the late Charlotte Wilkins, both also of Springdale.

A tall glass cylinder filled with curly willow, stargazer lilies, white roses and spider chrysanthemums decorated the altar. Music was by organist Kerry Johnston, pianist Leslie Hancock and soloist Tiffany Chastain-Smith. Guest book attendants were Katy Hunt, cousin of thebridegroom, and Lindsey Gearhart.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless white tulle gown embellished with silver embroidery and beading at the sweetheart neckline, dropped waist and the hem of the ball gown skirt and chapel train. A crystal headpiece secured her white veil with a beaded edge. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis.

Maid of honor was Erica Slavens of Fayetteville. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Seth Skarda of Hazen; Chelsi Sheridan of Rogers; Mrs. Michael Keith of Little Rock; Mrs. Jason Tapley of Greenbrier; and Cara Duch, Katie Lisko and Morgan McMullen, all of Jonesboro.

They wore tea-length strapless turquoise dresses with ivory sashes. Their bouquets were filled with red, orange and pink roses.

Olivia Meins of Springdale was flower girl, and Tate Tapley of Greenbrier, nephew of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.

Best man was Bo Wilkins of Fayetteville, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were James Dutton of New York; Alex Buckley, Tyler Harper, Wade Bowenand Clark Donat, all of Fayetteville; Brian Moore of Springdale; and Carson Smith of Magnolia.

Seating the guests were Brock Gearhart of New York, cousin of the bridegroom; Justin Hunt of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Jason Tapley of Greenbrier; and Seth Skarda of Hazen and Ross Skarda of Fayetteville, brothers of the bride.

A reception at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Springdale followed the ceremony. Guest tables alternated arrangements of red, pink and orange spray roses in glass cubes with hurricane shades on mirrors surrounded by loose wedding flowers. The buffet held an arrangement of lilies, roses and chrysanthemums. Music was by the Big Uns Band.

The bride received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is a registered nurse at Willow Creek Women's Hospital in Johnson. The bridegroom is attending the University of Arkansas. He is a special accounts manager at Airways Freight Corp.

The couple will live in Fayetteville after a honeymoon in Jamaica.
