Alabama rolls over Hogs 49-14

— Alabama fed off Arkansas mistakes and flexed its muscles Saturday at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The ninth-ranked Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0 SEC) got an 87-yard touchdown run from Glen Coffee, returned two Casey Dick interceptions for touchdowns -- all in the first half -- and rolled past the Razorbacks to win 49-14 in the SEC opener for both teams.

Arkansas (2-1, 0-1) trailed 21-0 after one quarter and 35-7 at halftime thanks in part to Coffee's 87-yard run and interception returns for touchdowns by Javier Arenas (63 yards) and Justin Woodall (74). Dick threw another interception on the first possession of the second half, leading to 31-yard touchdown run by Coffee and putting the Razorbacks in a 35-point hole.

The road ahead doesn't get any easier for the Razorbacks, who play at No. 7 Texas next week, host No. 4 Florida on Oct. 4 and play at No. 10 Auburn on Oct. 11.
