CONWAY — Jadon S. Wiese, son of JR and Mary Wiese of Conway, is the recipient of the Shideler Chemistry Award at Hendrix College.
The award is presented in honor of Dr. Robert W. Shideler, who served Hendrix as professor of chemistry for 32 years. It is presented to the top-ranking student in the organic chemistry sequence of courses for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Wiese is a junior at Hendrix where he is majoring in biochemistry/molecular biology.
