SUZANNE ELIZABETH BIENVENU WESLEY PATRICK ANDERSON

— St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Yountville, Calif., was the setting at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, for the marriage of Suzanne Elizabeth Bienvenu and Wesley Patrick Anderson. Monsignor Francis Malone of Christ the King Catholic Church in Little Rock officiated.

Dr. and Mrs. Gregory Stephen Bienvenu of North Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Zerben H. Bienvenu of Lafayette, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian O. Pilcher Jr. of Baton Rouge.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Joseph Anderson of Pine Bluff. His grandparents are Mrs. Thomas Wesley Price of Pine Bluff, the late Mr. Price, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John L. Anderson of Lincoln, Neb.

On each side of the altar were decorative urns filled with ivory roses and hydrangeas. Music was by organist and vocalist Dorrie Purdy of Napa Valley, Calif.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory douppioni silk gown. The Empire bodice had a V-neckline and the slim A-line skirt extended to a sweep train. Her ivory illusion veil, a family heirloom, was two-tiered with a plain edge. She carried a bouquet of roses, dahlias, freesia and hydrangeas.

Catherine Marie Bienvenu of Baton Rouge served as her sister's attendant. She wore a Grecian-style strapless dress of yellow chiffon with a shirred empire bodice and carried a smaller version of the bridal bouquet.

John Thomas Anderson of Little Rock served as his brother's attendant.

Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was held in The Cottage of Brix Restaurant in Yountville, which overlooksthe Brix Vineyard and flower gardens. Guest tables were centered with votive candles and ivory and cream roses and hydrangeas in low square glass vases.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She received a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock and is a registered nurse at Baptist Health Medical Center.

The bridegroom is a cum laude graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is pursuing a master's degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

After a honeymoon traveling the Northern California coast, the couple will reside in Dallas.
