— Prostitute stole cash, LR man tells police

A man expecting an encounter with a prostitute was instead robbed at knife point by the woman, Little Rock police report.

Ramiro Garcia, 28, of Little Rock, told police he picked up a prostitute about 12:35 a.m. Thursday and drove her to a parking lot at 5300 Base Line Road. The woman then pulled a knife and demanded money. Garcia said he gave the woman about $200 before she ran off, the report said.

About an hour and a half later, police said officers saw a vehicle in the woods at Doyle Springs Road and Interstate 30. Inside the vehicle, officers said they found a woman who "matched the description of the suspect that robbed Mr. Garcia."

Officers took the woman to detectives' offices and called Garcia to show him photos that included a picture of the woman.

"Mr. Garcia advised that he was 100 percent sure that the suspect that robbed him was not in the photo spread," the police report reads. The woman was released without charges.

13-year-old accused of attacking teacher

A 13-year-old boy was arrested on accusations he hit a teacher in the head with a desk Thursday morning at Felder Academy,Little Rock police reported.

According to the police report, officers were called to Jewell Stout's classroom about 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, they found Stout, 53, "bleeding profusely from his head," with about a 1-inch cut above his left eye.

A Little Rock School District security officer, Kendrick Rollins was already in the classroom. Rollins told police he had been called to remove a student from class. He said when he arrived, the boy was "standing facing in the opposite direction" of Stout. When Rollins asked the boy to leave the class, he "picked up a desk (the actual desk and chair are all one unit), turned around and struck [Stout] in the head with it." Rollins grabbed the boy and took him to the school cafeteria, the report said.

Officers arrested the boy without incident, the report said, noting that the boy was "completely calm and did not say anything." The boy, who was not identified because he's a minor, was charged with second-degree battery and taken to the county's juvenile detention center.

The teacher was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock for his injuries, police said.
