BENTON — A Pine Bluff man was arrested in two armed robberies at game rooms in Saline County in July and early August.
Jonquil A. King, 24, was booked into the Saline County jail late Wednesday on nine felony charges, including attempted murder, first-degree battery, aggravated robbery and various theft charges, authorities said.
One robbery was July 25 at a game room authorities said is called the Getaway, during which workers were tied up and beaten,reports said. One woman said her head was slammed on the concrete floor.
The other robbery was Aug. 2 at the Woodson Game Room, during which two people said they were robbed at gunpoint.
Investigators said more arrests are pending.
Authorities said King is not a suspect in two recent armed robberies in Bryant in which female clerks were forced to undress.
