Bush aide to speak at Clinton School

— Matthew Dowd, chief campaign strategist for President George W. Bush's 2004 presidential race, will give a speech at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service on Wednesday. Dowd has worked for Republicans and Democrats during a 30-year career.

His speech is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Sturgis Hall, 1200 President Clinton Ave., in Little Rock. Sturgis Hall is on the Clinton Presidential Center grounds. Audience members may take a bagged lunch. Drinks will be provided.

The speech, which is expected to last about an hour, including a question-and-answer session, is open to the public. There is no admission fee. Reservations are required and can be made by e-mailing publicpro grams@clintonschool.uasys.edu or calling (501) 683-5239.
