The buzz

— Whitney! Madonna! Barbra! Miranda! Mariah! (Maybe.)

September has divas out the wazoo, even if Mariah Carey's new album is delayed for the third time. And frankly, Miranda Lambert probably wouldn't like being called a diva, given her countryrock heck-raising music, such as "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend." But we're thrilled to know Lambert is back with another album.

There's even bigger news, though. The music of The Beatles has finally been remastered and is expected to hit stores and digital outlets in two boxed sets (mono and stereo) and individual albums starting Sept. 9.

All this and new music by Phish, Sean Kingston, John Fogerty and Pearl Jam, old music by Drive-By Truckers and Big Star and more mountain music from Patty Loveless. Release dates are subject to change.
