Governor's appointments

— Gov. Mike Beebe announced Thursday appointments to six state boards or commissions:

To the Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, for terms expiring June 30, 2012: Charlotte Britton, Hope, replacing Lisa Williams; Jana Hayes, Fort Smith, reappointed; Lynne Raney Hill, Camden.

To the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy, for a term expiring July 1, 2012: Todd Burton, Jonesboro, reappointed; Robert B. Hill, Prescott, reappointed.

To the Arkansas Legislative Task Force on Abused and Neglected Children for terms expiring Dec. 31, 2010: Harry "H.G." Foster II, Conway; Chris Smith, Little Rock; Dr. Angie Waliski, Benton.

To the Arkansas Project Graduation Commission for terms to be determined by a drawing of lots: Ronald Laurent, Pine Bluff; Susan Waggener, West Memphis; Donnie Whitten, Arkadelphia.

To the Arkansas Alternative Energy Commission to serve at the will of the governor: Dr. Stanley Baker, Fayetteville; Kurt Castleberry, Little Rock; Michael Drake, North Little Rock; George Heintzen Jr., Conway; Chris Lander, Little Rock.

To the Arkansas State Board of Massage Therapy for terms to be decided by a drawing of lots: Gregg Benefiel, Mountain View; Lisa Douglas, Forrest City; Audra Findley, Russellville; Naomi Hall, Little Rock; Faye Weeks, Rudy; Susie Williams, Little Rock; Mary Kay Wurm, Hot Springs.
