— St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 925 Mitchell St. in Conway, will host an art show and sale from 6-9 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $25 and will be available at the door.

Proceeds from the event, which will feature a silent auction in the lobby of the church with live music and refreshments available in the parish hall, will benefit a mission trip to Guatemala scheduled for Saturday, March 20, throughSunday, March 28.

The Rev. Teri Daily, vicar at St. Peter’s, said she hopes parishioners, as well as members of the community, will attend this special event.

“It will be a time to enjoy a night of art and being together in fellowship, as well as raising money for this very important mission trip,” she said. “We hope this will be a fun event.”

Daily will be among the 24 volunteers making the medical mission trip.

Marianne Welch, a parishioner at St. Peter’s and directorof clinical laboratory services at Conway Regional Health System, will lead the mission trip.

At least 15 artists will be represented in the silent auction. Other items will be up for bids, too, including antique furniture, special-order cheesecakes and a wide range of autographed objects.
