WEDDINGS: DANA MICHELLE CHEEK LANDON DREW KEOPPLE

— Dana Michelle Cheek and Landon Drew Keopple were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 10, at An Enchanted Evening in Roland. Harry Bates of New Life Church in Maumelle officiated.

Vickie and Gary Cheek, 18307 Raines Road, are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Norma and David Weise of Little Rock, and Jeanette Joyce and Ralph Cheek, both of Liberty, N.C.

The bridegroom’s parents are Marsha and Bill Keopple of Texarkana. His grandparents are Betty and Harry Belew of Beebe and Ruth and the late C.W. Keopple of Little Rock.

The focal point of the outdoor ceremony was an arch decorated with fuchsia and tangerine roses.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless white taffeta trumpet-style gown with a chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of white garden roses.

Kara Plyler of Little Rock, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Keopple of Texarkana, sister of the bridegroom; Ashley Boldin and Kristen Schneider, both of Little Rock; RachelCecil of Sherwood; and Tiffany Rowland of Maumelle.

They wore fuchsia cocktail dresses with halter necklines and carried fuchsia and tangerine roses and gerbera daisies.

Maci Martelloni of Allen, Texas, cousin of the bridegroom, and Regan Dillon of Bryant were flower girls. Ring bearer was Easton Lakin of Romance, nephew of the bride.

The father of the bridegroom served as best man. Groomsmen were Brett Taylor of Conway; Kyle Blankenship of Tulsa; Brad DeVault of Humble, Texas; Garrett Mills of Minneapolis; and Grant Nickell of Killen, Ala.

Guest tables at a reception around the pool at An Enchanted Evening were covered with white cloths and orange and fuchsia runners and centered with cylinder vases filled with daisies, spider chrysanthemums and pompoms. The buffet table held cylinder vases full of gerbera daisies. Assisting were Kari Lakin, sister of the bride, and Misti Plyler, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where she was a member of the 2002 National Champion Collegiate Cheerleading Squad. She will be teaching first grade at Emerson Elementary and will also be the assistant cheerleading coach at SouthernArkansas University at Magnolia.

The bridegroom is a graduate of the University of Tulsa, where he received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and was a member of the football team that won a Conference USA championship in 2005. He received a master’s degree in sports administration from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia and is an assistant football coach at SAU and head strength and conditioning coach for all sports.

The couple will live in Magnolia after a honeymoon in Jamaica.
