Five counties in central and southeast Arkansas are under a flash flood warning.
The National Weather Service in Little Rock issued the warning for southern Lonoke County, southeastern Pulaski County, south central Prairie County, northwestern Arkansas County and northern Jefferson County until 8:15 p.m.
Flooding at the Saline County Humane Society on Highway 183 in Bauxite has been reported.
A mass of thunderstorms were spotted from Mabelvale to Belfast, the weather service said.
