Gulf oil spill: How to help

An offshore oil rig exploded April 20, spilling thousands of barrels of oil into the Gulf of Mexico and jeopardizing economies, the coastal ecosystem and wildlife. Below is a list of sites by organizations working to stem the spill's effects on the birds, turtles and sealife in the region. Before donating to any organization, please thoroughly research its qualifications and history.
