Time, networks set for Arkansas-Georgia

— Arkansas’ 2010 SEC football opener against Georgia on Sept. 18 will be aired by ESPN or ESPN2, the network announced Thursday. The game at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Ga., will kick off at 11 a.m. Central.

No other arrangements for the Razorbacks’ football schedule have been announced at this time.

The network for the game will be selected following the conclusion of games played Sept. 11. Arkansas has appeared on ESPN 29 times and on ESPN2 on 20 occasions.

It will be Arkansas’ first game at Sanford Stadium since 2005.

CBS has also announced details for its SEC doubleheaders in 2010 and the SEC Championship Game. The network will broadcast doubleheaders Saturday, Oct. 2 with games airing at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Central and Saturday, Nov. 13, with games kicking off at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Central. The SEC Championship Game will be broadcast at 3 p.m. Central on Saturday, Dec. 4, from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
