NORTH LITTLE ROCK — A Scott, Ark. man was arrested Tuesday after police stopped his car and found about 5 pounds of marijuana inside, authorities said.
Andre T. Jones, 31, is facing charges of possession of a marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is due in court Wednesday morning.
According to a North Little Rock Police Department arrest report, investigators received a tip that Jones would be picking up a "large quantity" of marijuana Tuesday before delivering it to a subject in Little Rock.
Police followed Jones as he drove through Little Rock and into Saline County. Officers later pulled Jones' vehicle over in the 6300 block of Mabelvale Pike.
A search of the car yielded the marijuana as well as a digital scale, according to the report.
Jones' bail was set at $15,000.
