LITTLE ROCK — A Conway man was killed Thursday in a one-vehicle accident in Lee County, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash report.
James Alvin Lee Jr., 49, was riding in a Toyota Camry traveling west on Arkansas 78 about four miles east of Wheatley just before 11 p.m. when the car ran off the roadway across Lee County Road 924. The car struck a ditch and overturned, coming to rest in a field on the north side of the highway.
Lee died at the scene. The driver, Marcus Patton, 35, was injured in the accident but was not taken to a hospital, according to the report.
