LITTLE ROCK — Police arrest Texan in LR burglaries.
Police arrested a Texas man Tuesday they believe burglarized eight homes, including at least three in Little Rock, between November and March, according to a Little Rock police arrest report.
Carlos M. Santiago, 49, of Parkview, Texas, was arrested on eight counts of residential burglary and eight counts of theft in the string of home burglaries, the first of which occurred Nov. 23, the report said.
According to the report, Santiago broke into the homes and stole several thousand dollars of property from each. The reports lists only three of the eight homes burglarized, including houses on Bascom Drive, Rocky Valley Drive and Challain Cove. The last burglary listed on the report occurred March 27.
Santiago, who was born in Puerto Rico, was being held Tuesday evening at the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $80,000 bond, jail records show.
