Arkansas State University says a record 13,438 students are enrolled at its Jonesboro campus for the fall semester.
A news release from the school on Wednesday said the figure represented an increase of 1,042 students, or 8.4 percent, over the previous record set this spring. The number represents an increase of 1,282 students, or 10.5 percent, from fall 2009 enrollment.
ASU said graduate-level enrollment for the fall semester was 3,371 students, up by 1,239 students from the year before.
