No arrests have been made and police are still investigating the early afternoon incident.

The driver of the Hummer told police he was involved in "some sort of a road rage incident" with another vehicle near St. Charles Blvd. and Green Mountain Drive, said Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis.

A purported road rage incident led to a Hummer crashing through a west side house, authorities said.

The Hummer driver became distracted, possibly by shots fired from the other vehicle, and crashed through the front of 11907 St. Charles Blvd., Davis said. No one was injured.

"At this time, we're trying to gather statements from the drivers of both vehicles to determine exactly what happened," Davis said.

No damage estimate was available, but the crash left a gaping hole in the front of the two-story brick structure and turned what had been an office into a heap of debris.

Tori Tedford, a graduate student who lives in the home with her mother, said the damage was shocking.

"It's pretty sad and (we) don't know what we're going to do," she said shortly after returning home to the damage. "I'm really just overwhelmed right now and speechless."

The driver and a passenger in the Hummer both declined comment at the scene.
