KALEIDOSCOPE SUPPORT Event’s $46,000 to benefit clinics that offer counseling

— Almost 300 people gathered Sept. 17 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church to support the Kaleidoscope Grief Center and Methodist Family Health’s counseling clinics.

Kaleidoscope Grief Center is a program that focuses on children, teens and families who have lost a loved one.

The event featured silent and live auctions. Anne Jansen Broadwater was master of ceremonies.

The evening was chaired by Lori Brownmiller, Joan Gates, Erin Griffin, Nikki Johnson, Kathleen Kennally and Lynn Staten.

About $46,000 was raised.

Live auction itemsincluded a painting by Theresa Cates, a handblown glass bowl by James Hayes and a two-nightgetaway to Walt Disney World.
