— Bond was set at $25,000 Monday for a Jacksonville man accused of driving while intoxicated when he caused a fatal wreck early Sunday in downtown Little Rock.

Authorities say Jeremy Farr, 23, was driving the wrong way down Eighth Street around 2 a.m. when he collided with one vehicle, left that scene and then became involved in a second wreck.

The second collision injured the other driver and killed the front-seat passenger, identified as 22-year-old Ivory Warmack.

Farr didn't speak during a several-minute video arraignment in front of Little Rock District Court Judge Alice Lightle. A not-guilty plea was entered on his behalf, which is standard in all district court cases involving felonies.

Farr is facing charges of negligent homicide, two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, driving while intoxicated, careless and prohibited driving and driving with a suspended license.

Pulaski County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Blake Byrd said during the hearing that a breath-test after the fatal wreck showed Farr had a blood-alcohol level of more than 0.10.

Farr was arrested at the scene of the fatal wreck, but police believe he tried to leave before they arrived. Byrd said the driver in the first collision followed Farr when he left that scene and then parked behind him after the second accident when Farr attempted to back up, blocking him in.
