The Arkansas House and Senate have gone into recess after completing legislative action this morning on a bill to draw congressional district boundaries anew on the basis of population data from the federal census of the state last year.

The Senate passed this bill on a vote of 23-11 and the House then passed it 61-19. It is identical to a plan in a bill that the lawmakers passed yesterday.
