Six arrested on drug charges in Batesville raid

BATESVILLE Six people are in custody after a methamphetamine raid in Batesville.
U.S. Attorney Christopher Thyer says federal and state investigators arrested the suspects at about 6 a.m. Monday. Five of the arrests were in Batesville and one was in Berryville.
Batesville residents charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute are 27-year-old Jorge Rojas Olivera, 50-year-old Steve Marroquin, 23-year-old Jose A. Villareal, 46-year-old Maynor Efren Bravo-Fuentes and 32-year-old Juana Patricia Bamac-Perez.
The suspect from Berryville is 25-year-old Eddy Boche.
The defendants were scheduled to have appearances in federal court later Monday.
Agents also executed search warrants on three addresses in Batesville and one in Bradford.
