One dead in Bella Vista fire

One person was a killed in a townhouse fire in Bella Vista Thursday night.

The Bella Vista fire and police departments were dispatched to a fully involved structure fire on Alyce Lane, a news release stated.

When officers and fire personnel arrived, they found the residences at 5 Alyce, 7 Alyce, 9 Alyce and 11 Alyce all on fire. The residences involved were a combined four townhouse structure, the release stated.

After the fire was extinguished, a body was located inside the home at 9 Alyce. The body has not been identified at this time and will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime lab for positive identification, the release stated.

A preliminary investigation indicates the fire was accidental, the release stated.
