LITTLE ROCK — A glowing orb mimicking a full moon floated over the lake at Wildwood Park for the Performing Arts casting a soft light over Lanterns! festivalgoers Feb. 20. The annual event celebrates the first full moon of the lunar year.
Inside, on the stage of the Lucy Cabe Theater, the boards of Wildwood and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra as well as donors toasted the success of the festival and collaboration of the two organizations.
The reception followed a performance of the Lumina Trio consisting of the orchestra’s pianist Tatiana Roitman, oboist Beth Wheeler and David Renfro on the French horn. The trio also performed the previous two days of the festival.
