TEXARKANA, Ark. — Police in Texarkana, Ark., are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an abandoned house.
Police spokeswoman Kristi Mitchell told the Texarkana Gazette the body was found about 4:30 p.m. Thursday after man called police to report the body. Mitchell said the caller’s identity is not known and the dead man’s name has not been released.
Police say the man appears to have been dead for several days and the body is being sent to the state crime laboratory in Little Rock to determine the cause of death.
