Woman, 23, found not breathing, dies

— The Baxter County sheriff’s office is investigating the Saturday morning death of a Mountain Home woman.

Ashley Marie Warren, 23, was pronounced dead at 6:21 a.m. at Baxter Regional Medical Center after her boyfriend woke up at his home and found she was not breathing, according to a news release.

About 5:34 a.m., Joshua Dale King, 25, called 911 and told an operator that he woke up and found Warren had stopped breathing and a foaming substance was coming out of her mouth, the release said. Warren and their 1-year-old son were spending the night at King’s home on County Road 888 near Gassville, the release said.

King was instructed how to perform CPR, and deputies continued treatment after they arrived a few minutes later, the release said. She was then taken by ambulance to the medical center.

Warren’s body was sent to the medical examiner’s office in Little Rock to determine the cause of death. Deputy Linda Henryk said the sheriff’s office does not suspect homicide.

“What our preliminary information was, was that she possibly had some sort of seizure,” Henryk said.
