The Top 10 places in Arkansas to visit include a fortress, a wildlife refuge and a couple of museums, according to a vote.
As voted on by the public, the favorites were:

Petit Jean State Park, Morrilton
Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, Springdale
Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, Eureka Springs
Last month, the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism announced 175 top places in the state to visit, as determined by activity and searches on Arkansas.com. The agency asked residents to vote for their favorites.
More than 50,000 votes were cast.
