Watch VideoLt. Carl Minden of the Pulaski County sheriff's office said the call was received between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday afternoon of a body that was discovered in an abandoned shed behind a house off E. 46th Street and Russell Road.
The body has been identified as a female, but no other information about the body was available at this time.
Officials are not ruling the case a homicide just yet, rather calling it a suspicious death.
Family and neighbors on the scene said believed that the body was that of Tammy Denise Harris, 45. Harris was reported missing by her family Oct. 24. Officers could not confirm that that body was Harris. Minden said the body is being taken to the Pulaski County Coroner's office for an autopsy and will be identified there.
