LITTLE ROCK — An Alma man was arrested on charges related to child pornography, according to a release from the Arkansas Attorney General's Office.
Bryan A. Holmes, 47, was arrested at his home at 1115 Chitwood St. by agents from the office on Wednesday. Holmes is being charged with 20 counts of distributing, possessing or viewing matter involving sexually explicit matter involving children. The charge is a Class C felony.
Holmes is being held at the Crawford County Detention Center on $50,000 bond and has been ordered to have no contact with minors.
The investigation into Holmes' activity has been ongoing since September. The Cyber Crimes Unit of the Attorney General's Office Special Investigations Division initially executed a search warrant at Holmes' residence on Oct. 26. At that time, a number of computers and digital devices were taken into custody. On those devices were found to be images of sexual abuse on a child.
