— Stephanie Ann Hatch and Evan Joshua Zaslow were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, in Anthony Chapel at Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs. Judge Jack Holt officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Marian Turnbull of Studio City, Calif., and Charles Stephen Mangan II of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Lois and the late Pete Turnbull of Joplin, Mo., and the late Suzanne and Col. Charles Stephen Mangan of Miami.

Parents of the groom are Karyn and Mark Zaslow of Blaine, Wash. His grandparents are Adele and the late Arthur Zaslow and Phyllis and the late Gil Thompson, all of Bellingham, Wash.

The altar was decorated with arrangements of roses, hydrangeas and peonies. Music was by pianist Peggy Pearson.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fitted gown with a lace bodice and a tulle skirt embellished at the waist with a pearl sash. Her floor-length veil wassecured with a crystal beaded headband. She carried a bouquet of cream and blush roses, hydrangeas and peonies.

Guests were seated by Stephen Mangan III, David Mangan and Padgett Mangan, brothers of the bride.

A reception in the gardens’ Verna Cook Pavilion followed the ceremony. Guest tables held candles and vintage silver vases filled with cream and blush wedding flowers and vintage place card holders.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University at Northridge. She teaches third grade at Columbia Elementary School in Lancaster, Calif.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Western Washington University in Bellingham, and is director of operations at CRB Investments.

The couple will reside in Palmdale, Calif., after a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
