PONCA — The staff of the Ponca Elk Education Center is holding Color Fest 2011, a public outdoor fine-art exhibition featuring Arkansas artists. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Nature-inspired artwork will be on display and available for purchase as artists demonstrate their techniques.
An elk photography workshop will be presented by local nature photographer Michael Dougherty at 2 p.m. each day, and school groups may schedule a presentation by ceramic artist Winston Taylor.
Als o, the Junior Duck Stamp display and local school artwork will be on display through Sunday. A food vendor will be on-site.
