— Police are looking for a shooter who opened fire on a man inside his Chicot Road home Monday morning.

The victim, identified in a police report as 19-year-old Darnell Britts, was taken to Baptist Memorial Health Center with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. He was listed in stable condition Monday afternoon.

Britts told police the shooter - who he knew only as Junior - had recently bought drugs from a family member. Junior arrived at Britts' home, 10111 Chicot Road, knocked on the door and then told Britts he wanted "the rest," according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

Junior - described as a black man about 18 years old and 6-foot-1-inches tall - then shot Britts in the left arm with a shotgun.

Britts ran to a home on nearby Milford Drive, where authorities were called.

Junior reportedly left the area in a beige Lincoln Town Car. Hastings said there may have been a second man in the car.
