Fall registration to open for new students at Ozarka College

— Ozarka College is registering current and new students for the upcoming summer semesters. Summer I courses will begin June 4, and the Summer II session will begin July 9.

Fall registration for new students will begin at 8 a.m. Monday. Students are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with their assigned academic advisers to plan their fall schedules. Fall courses will begin Aug. 20.

New-student orientation is required for all degree-seeking new and transfer students who are enrolling in at least six credit hours for the fall semester. High school students enrolled concurrently are not required to attend an orientation session.

Orientation will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates: Aug. 6, Mountain View; Aug. 7, Ash Flat;Aug. 8, Mammoth Spring; Aug. 9, Melbourne; and Aug. 17, Melbourne.

Anyone planning to enroll as a new student at Ozarka College must take the ACT or Compass Exam. These test scores are required for placement in English, reading and mathematics.
