Windstream Hosted Solutions, the data-center operator for Little Rock-based communications company Windstream Corp., announced Monday that it will construct a new facility in Nashville, Tenn.
The new data center, set to open in 2013, will be 21,000 square feet with 10,000 square feet of raised-floor space where servers are stored, the company said in a statement.
Windstream Hosted didn’t say how many people will be employed at the Nashville facility.
The company announced the completion of a data center in McLean, Va., last month, and it opened a center in west Little Rock in April.

Since this a type of operation that could be opened anywhere, then the Governor and Little Rock city leaders missed the boat on this one again.

Jackabbout: WIN just opened a data center in WLR a few months ago. Who's missed the boat?
