LITTLE ROCK Gov. Mike Beebe will join Little Rock Mayor Mark Stodola to mark the opening of a multimillion dollar facility designed to treat children with physical and developmental disabilities.
The governor will take part Thursday in the opening ceremony for Pediatrics Plus’ new facility on Aldersgate Road. Officials say the facility will create 50 new jobs.
The facility will serve more than 400 children with special needs and developmental delays. Pediatrics Plus provides physical, occupational and speech therapies and developmental preschool services.
The new building includes two multisensory accessible playgrounds and more than 15,000 square feet of therapy space and equipment.
