LITTLE ROCK — A Smackover teenager was killed and four others were injured when a vehicle overturned in Union County early Monday morning.
Samantha Rhoades, 16, of Magnolia, was driving a 2002 Ford Explorer east on Southfield Road Cutoff near U.S. 167 at 1 a.m. when she lost control of her sport utility vehicle and it went off the road and overturned.
A passenger, Gage Shoffner, 18, of 201 McDonald St., was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
Rhoades, and three passengers, Tristan Martinius, 15; Savannah Jones, 14; and Robert Fowler, 17, were all injured.
