LITTLE ROCK — Authorities are searching for a man who robbed a Little Rock bank Tuesday.

According to Little Rock Police Department spokesman Sgt. Cassandra Davis, the suspect is a black male with a thin build, approximately six-feet tall wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. Witnesses also told Davis that the suspect put on a mask as he entered the bank and could possibly have dreadlocks as well.
The suspect displayed a small handgun when he entered, jumped onto the counter — stepping on an employee's hand — took an undisclosed amount of money and ran out of the bank. No one was seriously injured during the ordeal.
Preliminary scanner traffic indicated the robber ran south from the area on Mabelvale Pike.
