Displays included 58 different posters of original work discussing various topics from capturing video in advanced frames, to finding out the different matter created by stars in the universe.

The event is the first of it's kind in the state, organized by Patrick Desrochers, a professor of chemistry at the University of Central Arkansas. Desrochers said he sent out e-mails to schools in August, and heard back from the 13 present at the event. He added that while there have been displays like this before, this is the biggest in his time assisting with them.

The colleges represented at Wednesday morning's gathering were UCA, Arkansas-Little Rock, Hendrix, Philander Smith, Arkansas Tech, Arkansas State, Arkansas-Monticello, Southern Arkansas, Henderson State, Ouachita Baptist, Lyon, John Brown and Harding.
