Zumba Fitness MELBOURNE - Ozarka College will offer a Continuing Education course in Zumba Fitness from 5-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, running from Tuesday through Feb. 14, on the Melbourne campus, 218 College Drive, in Room C-120. The class costs $40 and will be taught by Tracie Kirk of Dance 2 Fitness in Cave City. Zumba is a mix of bodysculpting movements with easy-tofollow dance steps. FRIDAY Chinese New Year Celebration JACKSONVILLE - A Chinese New Year celebration in honor of the Year of the Dragon will be held from 5:30-9 p.m. at the Jacksonville Community Center.

The Nanjing Acrobatic Troupe will perform, and there will be a silent auction, a cake-decorating contest, dance performances, and an art exhibit featuring theart of Jacksonville High School teacher Marvin Lindley and his students. The registration fee for the cake-decorating contest is $10. The first-place winner will receive $100, the second-place winner $50 and the third-place winner $25. All proceeds will go toward building a new Jacksonville arts center.

Lucious Spiller Concert NEWPORT - The date of Lucious Spiller’s performance at Arkansas State University-Newport has been changed to Feb. 10. Spiller will perform as part of the ASU-Newport Concert-Lecture Series at 7 p.m. in the university’s Center for the Arts. Spiller is an upand-coming entertainer in the Little Rock area. Accompanied by his band, Spiller explores virtually every genre of music but specializes in the blues.

He will sing a collection of hits by various Motown artists,particularly Stevie Wonder.

The free concert is open to the public.

Stone County Master Gardener Seminar MOUNTAIN VIEW - The Stone County Master Gardeners will hold a Spring Seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at First Baptist Church, 224 King Ave. in Mountain View. Guest speakers will include Janet Carson, R.C.

Chamber Trap Tournament BATESVILLE - The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold the first ChamberTrap Tournament from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Independence County Shooting Sports Complex. Each team will consist of five shooters shooting 25 targets each. Amateur shooters are encouraged to participate. Practice will be available the day before and the morning of the tournament.

‘Heaven, Is It Real?’ CABOT - A Cabot Community Seminar: “Heaven, Is It Real?” will be held at 7 p.m. March 5-8 at the Cabot National Guard Armory.
